  • Consistently one of the best shows

For fans of science fiction, it doesn't get much better than Doctor Who. I'm very excited for the second half of the season, and getting to know the new companion. For those who don't know, this year is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who and the rest of the season should build up to the big anniversary episode later this year.

As much as I miss Amy and Rory, I'm confident that Clara will prove herself to be another great companion for the Doctor! Anyways, Doctor Who is a great show, WATCH IT!!!! (or you will disrupt the boundaries of space and time and destroy 2/3 of the universe) :O

I (and my family) are huge Doctor Who fans. I've been watching since the 70's. This season is pretty sad. I like Mat as the doctor, and I really like Clara as the new companion but the stories are lazy and uninteresting - so far the solutions involve positive psychology, and there are huge inconsistencies in each episode. I hope the last few pick up.
  • Season 7 let down

Somehow the heart and soul has gone out of Dr. Who, my husband's and my favorite show. Season 7 has been disappointing. Someone behind the camera must be in love with "Clara" because we can't see the appeal. She is not accessible or relatable. We miss Rose, Martha, and Donna and yes even Amy because Rory (great character) made her more "real" and more likable. Matt Smith was so great in seasons 5 and 6 but now seems withdrawn, grumpy, and sickly obsessed with Clara who he has given up too much of the spotlight to. Too much mood music, special effects, and constant action. Not enough time to connect to the story or the characters. We feel like we are watching a Nickelodeon show written for tweens. Please bring back the "Doctor" we have fallen in love with or we may have to quit him altogether:,(

Another $20, yet I'm happy to pay for not just decent but imaginative and witty content. Yay Doctor!

Maybe it was inevitable build-up of anticipation, waiting since December, but I was disappointed in the first episode of Season 7 pt2. It seemed like a ham-fisted rehash of previous episodes. One great thing about Doctor Who is the intertwining of different story threads, where a mundane episode takes on greater importance in the light of later episodes; so I have hopes that it will get better. But for now, this is definitely in the 'mundane' end of the spectrum.
  • Perfect!

Me and my friends can't wait for the second half of the season! I've been a huge fan of Doctor Who since the 9th Doctor and I also Love Matt Smith :)
  • Terribly written.

I loved seeing the other parts of the TARDIS but apart from that, this episode annoyed and frustrated me to no end. If you have to resort to a Deus Ex Machina ending then you fail as a writer.

  • Clara a lifesaver!

I've been waiting for the chemistry that David Tennant had with Rose for so long. I love the new girl, and Matt Smith works so well with Clara! Instant chemistry between them.
  • Clara

I think Clara is a really good assistant also the thing that the doctor has to resolve a mystery about her makes it more interesting but I will miss Amy pond :(

It's Doctor Who, that should make you want to buy it without even reading the reviews. Well thought out stories and a new companion (Clara!) makes the show even more amazing. I mean almost David Tennant amazing. Nothing can compare to David Tennant. THIS IS STILL GENIUS!!!!!

  • You never know, where it will take you.

This is the best season of the doctor yet, and by far. You always guess at the beginning, what the hell is happening there, and why. And it makes all the answers, when they come even better sounding. And personally I think Matt is the best incarnation of the Doctor yet, while Jenna makes for a perfect companion.
  • Clara doesn't fit

    By kelly2229
For me Doctor who was my escape. Whenever I needed to just escape from my life I ran to the Doctor. I know, many people will say I'm not a true Doctor Who fan for not having watched all the classics, but I still count on the doctor and his companions to take me away, and show me what it's like to be brave. With Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, and River i felt like I was a part. Laughed along side them cried when they left, the companions became part of my life. They each meant something to the doctor became the people he loved and trusted. His lover, His support, his best friend, his family and his wife. But with Clara, I feel like she doesn't fit into the Doctor's life like his other companions. She just "The impossible girl." A mystery. Nothing more.
