  • Doctor Who + FREE = *GASP* :D

I LOVE LOVE LOVE David Tennant, but am so excited to see what Matt Smith does with the role. Doctor Who is an absolutely amazing show which is how it's been able to stick around then be redone and be successful for so long. The new companion seems promising. Can't wait until April 17!

I was skeptical that a kid who barely looks old enough to drive could play the Doctor, but I thought Matt did a brilliant job as the Doctor! He brings back a bit more madness to the role, a la Tom Baker-ish even. And the script for the first episode written by Stephen Moffat was excellent. The entire show had such an energy to it, you just have to grab on and hang on for the ride! If the rest of the series maintains this level of creativity and energy, I think we're going to have a wild ride.
  • Steven Moffat was the right choice

Steven Moffat wrote some of the best episodes (blink, girl in the fireplace, the library duo), so it is good they put him in charge. First episode is not his strongest work-but it is enjoyable. The new actor seems like he will do well-we will see in upcoming episodes.

I was very sorrowful that David Tennant had decided it was time to move on from the role of the Doctor. However, I am pleasantly surprised with the job that Matt Smith has done! I find him to fill the shoes of the Doctor quite well. I cannot wait for the 5th season to begin!
  • Super excited.

April 17th can't get here fast enough. DT will always be MY DOCTOR, but I am willing to give Matt Smith a chance. Change is hard, but inevitiable. Either way I will always want my own TARDIS. = )
  • AMAZED at the brilliance of the new Series.

I cannot express enough how epic this new series starring Matt Smith is. His portrayal of the Doctor, as well as his chemistry with who may very well end up being one of the best companions of all time, all coupled with the brilliant writing of Steven Moffat makes for one of the most suspenseful starts to a Doctor Who series ever. Keep an eye on this one, its worth the hype.

I first didn't like Doctor Who. But I was sitting in the living room while my brother was watching g it and when Tennant said "I don't want to go" I looked up and watched his regeneration. After that, I loved Matt smith! After he regenerated, I re watched the ninth and tenth and now tenth and eleventh are next to each other! One thing I really want iTunes to add it the 2010 intro theme. Thats my favorite theme!

Hot new doctor! Two new companions! And more River than ever!
  • Listen up!

The show is amazing. No arguing with that. Just because Matt Smith was a different Doctor than David Tennant was , doesn't mean you have to hate Matt...A true Whovian is loyal to the show, not to a certain Doctor
  • Awesome

In the episode amy's choice, i instantly figured out that the world where amy was pregnant was the dream world because the doctor's bowtie was blue not red and every whovian knows the red bowtie with fishfingers and custard.
  • I'm addicted !!!

I absolutely loved tennett but like how we get to see a more, whats the word, darker( but sill goofy), witty, and flambouant version of the doctor as Matt Smith. Ps. Was I the only one to cry when tennett regenerated Ps(part 2). The doctors r getting younger and younger
  • Geronimo!

I think Matt Smith has perfected the role of The Doctor. He's stylish, clever, funny, and confusing at times. This season is a great way to introduce the Best Doctor ever!
