Description

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles picks up its second season with Sarah (Lena Headey) continuing her lonely fight to save the future, hoping to stop the impending apocalypse and change the fate of her 16-year-old son, John (Thomas Dekker). While the ever-evolving technological enemy grows stronger, John begins to take the steps to embrace his destiny as the savior of mankind, yet he finds himself caught between his fearless protector, the beautiful but potentially dangerous cyborg, Cameron (Summer Glau), and his new friend, Riley (Leven Rambin). And has his uncle, Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green), overstayed his welcome? FBI agent Ellison (Richard T. Jones) is now a believer, after Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) spared his life, and he wants to figure out the truth. Complicating matters is Catherine Weaver (Shirley Manson), CEO of ZeiraCorp, who may know where to find the answers Ellison is looking for.

Samson and Delilah as implied is riviting and suprissing. The title suggests subterfuge and it could not have been put more aptly. Season 2 is shaping up to be a must watch for any sci-fi fan.
  • An extremely well-made, well-acted sci-fi show

Can machines think and feel? "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles" came along last year with a high quality of filming, special effects and performances that has really upped the ante for quality television, a trend in the past few years that is a welcome answer to the garbage often coming out of Hollywood these days. I was blown away by the show's pilot for season one and the series has been consistent ever since. Season 2 is looking very promising and has ventured further into the metaphysical question of whether or not machines, in this case Cyborgs, have emotions. This notion is of course nothing new and dates back to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and the dynamic between present-day humans, future humans and the cyborgs is extremeley similar to a similar dynamic in the recent Battlestar Galactica -- but who cares? This is quality TV that will draw you in, thrill you and stimulate your mind. Perhaps the biggest surprise for such an action show is that, like Battlestar Galactica, it is a smart show. I just hope the show's writers can keep the interesting material coming like they did last season.
  • Another Action Packed Season!!!

Finally we can see what happened. Now, hopefully, all the loose ends from the first season will be tied together. After seeing the jaw-dropping opening of Samson and Delilah, we are surely in for another action packed season of the Terminator. The first season proved that the Terminator could be good without Arnold. What would be good is if they would bring him back in a cameo appearance! Well, anyway, after that cliffhanger from What He Beheld, the highly anticipated Sarah Connor Chronicles returns! Let's hope that this is as good or better as the preceding season.

Not just good, but quite simply the best written action show on TV. Why? Because the show isn't just about bullets and explosions, but the very nature of the human condition. The writers don't just rehash the same tired old themes on the struggle for survival, but address things such as faith, humanity, kindness, and mercy in the face of the need for survival. Season 1 was good. Season 2 is exceptional. Don't just rely on any reviewer's opinion, see it for yourself. Don't let this show go quietly into the night.
  • Amazing writing for a tv series

I haven't seen writing this good since Joss Whedon's shows. The first episode of the season has everything from drama, action and a scene with John and Cameron that blew me away. This is one of the only shows I buy online AND watch during the week. I watch on TV, then watch on the computer to review it again after I see it the first time. Kudos to FOX, this show is AWESOME. Keep the actors and writers together on this one.

I have been waiting with great anticipation for the second season of Terminator: SCC. The writing is excellent. The effects are excellent. Character development is excellent. What's not to love about this show? With all the canellations from last year's line-up, (stinking writer's strike) I am glad to see that Terminator: SCC was not terminated! It will be intersting to see how well the TV show meshes with the Movies. Or maybe like Superman Returns, Terminator:SCC will go in its own direction. Either way, this show is premium entertainment!
  • Thanks for keeping it "real"

So many shows after first season (heroes) go off the path so far from first season that they fail. This is right where 1st season left off, with same tone. I really appreciate that, they are thinking of the viewer and not about how many eyeballs more they can get by blowing it out of proportion. I bought season pass and cant wait to see them all. Great start to a second season! The double truck scene was so unexpected it blew my mind...keep up those and you will have avery successful run.

This and lost are the only things worth watching on TV right now, and since lost is off season right now, this is the only show this season worth catching on Fox. Prison Break was pretty good when it first came out but it's just not interesting anymore. Hopefully Fox doesn't pull the plug on this show as they have a reputation of doing with other good shows. Also, I can't believe itunes lets people give reviews to shows based on the itunes price. Complain to Apple, don't take it out on the show!

Last year this series rocked. I hope that this year can continue and build on the dramatic plot line from last year. I am not a fan of the morphing terminator characters and hope that they do not prove to dominate the show. Now hopefully having the series opposite Monday night football will not kill its ratings. I am in for the series, the 39.99 is about a 10 percent savings.
  • Well FOX did it again...Cancelled.

From this point on I refuse to watch or purchase any television show from FOX and yes that means I will be downloading no FOX shows from I-tunes. Maybe if enough people do the same it will impact FOX's wallet and might have a positive effect. Until they change their ways I am done with them and the ambiguous and tentative lifeline of "every" "quality" show they seem determined to cancel. They do not promote, they do not choose beneficial viewing times, and they do not respect the people who purchased and followed the story so closely. Over and Out.

They never shoulder have cancelled this show… not after the second season! The monsters that cancelled this show need never work in television or Hollywood ever again.

I miss watching the episodes of Fox and talking about it with friends and some of my family but it's been a couple of years and there is nothing about any new season. It's a shame that a show that had a lot of potential get cancelled with a huge cliffhanger. I was hurt that they did this and I hope that maybe one day it may get finished.
  • Awesome show

One of the most heartfelt endings to any series ever. Hearing Sarah's I love you too was almost tear jerking. It's heartbreaking not knowing if John got to hear it. I'm still upset that Fox cancelled this show.
  • Amazing Show; Shouldn’t Have Been Cancelled

Finally, a watchable sci-fi show that actually feels “real”! TSCC is a stunning show, with excellent character developments, and fantastic acting. This were really getting interesting… and then FOX cancelled it. It reminds me a lot of the cancellation of The Clone Wars, yet this show actually had more in its favor than really any other show that I have seen cancelled. It’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever see how it would have continued now, due to the rights changing hands so many times and the yes of the actors, but still. I hope against all hope. No fate...
  • a sad ending

years ago when this show came out i loved it. i thought it was so great i watched it again this year, both seasons. I'm thirteen and I remember watching this show with my family. and when they cancel something like this, I'm not going to cry about it but its sad because they could of kept going with the show because people loved it. but then some critics, witch is like five to ten people, don't like it so now they have to cancel it. as weird as this show could be I think if u watch it again and really think about it, it also teaches us the importance of family. Thats something I will never forget that it taut me.
