Daffy Duck, Vol. 1

Daffy Duck, Vol. 1

Daffy Duck and Friends

  • Genre: Animation
  • Release Date: 2003-04-28
  • Advisory Rating: TV-G
  • Episodes: 10
  • iTunes Price: USD 9.9

Often paired with Bugs Bunny or Porky Pig, Daffy Duck continually wins the hearts of audiences with his never-say-die attitude, as he endures life in a world that seems to favor everyone but him. Ever the lisping lunatic, Daffy has evolved his screwball persona into an endearingly neurotic screen presence that contrasts brilliantly with those of the wisecracking Bugs and the somewhat dim Porky.

  • Yay I miss these!!!

    By Qbnangel
Wow, I jumped at the chance to buy one of these classic episodes for my ipod. This is when cartoons were good, so funny, and they remind me of my childhood. I reccomend "Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century" because it features my favorite Looney Toon character, Marvin the Martian. He's hilarious. Buy these episodes and enjoy them, I know I will.
  • Hilarious!!!!!!!

    By HollyBK
Oh man, finally. Daffy is my alter ego. It is great to have him back. iTunes, expand the Bugs and Daffy collection and please, ah say please, add some Foghorn Leghorn! Then my life will be complete.
  • Love, but need to add more

    By loyal ravens fan
I love the old looney tunes cartoons. The only bad thing to say is that there is a limited selection. I would like to see some of the Roadrunner/ Cyotee and Speedy Gonzalez as well as Taz.
  • Good but...

    By IggyIguana
I love these old cartoons, there is nothing today that can compare. However, why is the season 19.99 and each episode 1.99? It would seem there should be a bit better discount for purchasing a whole season. Not saying, just saying.
  • right up there with family guy?!

    By Brian Solo
i'm sorry, that "review" just struck me as RIDICULOUS, or should i say RI-DUCK-ULOUS. saying that the looney tunes are right up there with family guy is a slap in the face to looney tunes and animation in general. looney tunes are THE funniest and best drawn animated cartoons in history...period. family guy isn't even in the looney tunes' league. family guy is garbage, and daffy duck is the greatest! if i had to pick one daffy duck cartoon, it may be drip-along daffy, but don't hold me to that.
  • Give us More

    By StupidCoyote
Itunes needs to get more of these, especially The Roadrunner and Marvinthe Martian
  • YES!

Looney Toons are finally on iTunes. Since they were taken off of Cartoon Network and put on Boomerang, they've been harder to watch. Keep up the good work iTunes
  • Duck Amuck!!!

    By Jakey-Jake
Like all the other Looney Tunes cartoons now on I-Tunes, these are such great cartoons!!!!!! I highly recommend "Duck Amuck" it's really good and I think it won some really special award or something. Thanks to my dad (yes, I'm a child) I'm a HUGE Looney Tunes fan!!!
  • Its about time...

    By Personsen
Over the past few years of using itunes, I have come to see that almost all their cartoons are crude, gross, and just plain not funny. As I scrolled through these videos, always thought to myself: "Where is loony tunes when I need them?" My old VHS's of them had gradually transformed into a snowy picture, and the DVD's were too expensive. But finally, the wait is over. Anyone with an ipod, or a computer for that matter, can enjoy these classic shows. Now they can finally see what a cartoon actually is... I congratulate and thank itunes for finally doing this, and I hope to soon see all of the other loony tunes come to itunes, including, my favorite, Coyote and Road Runner…

Now these are the real cartoons! Thanks Itunes!!!

    Don’t forget about Vol. 2
  • Wabbit Season? No, Duck season!!

    By Iceland310
Ah, the old days of animation. I had no idea these cartoons were made in the 40s and 50s. I associate them with the Cartoon Network of the late 90s. Anyways, Daffy is a dick in all incarnations, pretty much, but mainly starting in the 50s. That said, I still think the guy is pretty funny. All in all, these 6-7 minute bursts of nostalgia and happiness are really better enjoyed free, amongst an hour of other Looney Tunes, and...whenever you happen to catch them on TV. Trust me, planning on watching them at all just makes them unbelievably dull.
  • Good video, terrible transfer

    By Raymond Brigleb
The quality here is all over the place. Some are passable, many abhorrent. How can you charge for such inferior quality, Apple??
  • Daffy, The Rodney Dangerfield Of Warner

    By Thirdeyenine
Geez, come on guys how about some more Daffy for my iPad. Daffy was in a lot more than 10. Bugs has 4 whole albums out, daffy just 1. No respect.
  • I'm ten years old and I love this

    By Sam1234512345
Daffy is the small duck you find in porky's duck hunt. He has changed over the years but will never get old. He is lucky to be funny enough to still be famous! And the fact that Mel Blanc, a man with such deep voice, can do a duck with such a high voice! Daffy is good enough to take over looney tunes (but sadly he is not smart enough)! - Once again, this was written by a ten year old

    By oilmanowen
Well where is season 2.........of these fab daffy duck cartoons, Itunes?

These cartoons are classic and they look absolutely perfect on my iPad!!! Now please bring Daffy Duck II asap!!!
  • Hilarious Classic for All Ages!

    By mwbarre
I am a big fan of the Looney Tunes, and especially of Daffy Duck. The cartoons in this collection are as hilarious today as they were when they first appeared in movie theaters in the 1940's and 1950's (with one cartoon, "A-Haunting We Will Go", appearing in 1966). A Looney addition to your iTunes collection, and hilarious entertainment for kids and adults alike!
  • an almost great idea

    By Rules For
It would be a great idea to make the classic Looney Tunes cartoons available for individual purchase (at $0.99 apiece). But what point is there in bundling two cartoons together for the price of $1.99, other than to "force" some people to pay for cartoons they don't want? Disappointing.
  • preview 2d part?

    By jeffm23
Is there a way to get a preview of the 2d film? Some of these titles sound kinda familiar but I'd like a better idea before clicking that ol' button...
