Description

Season Three saw Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother Alura alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her true home is now here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! With a wave of anti-alien sentiment roiling the country led by Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer); and a new command at the DEO, Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) – Kara returns to Catco, where she mentors young reporter Nia Nal (Nicole Maines), who evolves into a superhero herself.

  • Supergirl no longer Super - but is misguided.

Tried it again this season, with no cigar. Political agenda way too obvious. Just like most of TV, Supergirl fails to entertain, but instead works hard at indoctrinating the public through subterfuge and propaganda. I'm out. I guess it's back to adventure novels for escape.

Loved the show at first, but the politics became too much for me. It wouldn't be bad if they at least showed different sides of the argument in an unbiased fashion, but they don't. If you want this level of political bias, you might as well watch MSNBC.

I love supergirl, I love Melissa Benoist but I miss Mon-El and Winn. It’s not the same without them. I MISS KARAMEL!! They had a great love story. Please bring back Mon-El!! Him and Kara were perfect together
  • Too political

I used to love this show but it has become too political. Which in several interviews, the writers have stated that is their goal. They think that her having the smallest love interest is too weak. And they have removed the one character that brought any kind of real humor to the show. I have pretty much watched the season in fast forward in case there is any cross over material.
  • Great Season

Supergirl Season 3 was great, Season 4 so far even greater. It is timely to our time while relevant to the comics. The plot setting examines Steel Workers losing their job, a Professor with free speech suppressed and cast out, and Corporate Media ignoring The Ignored, thus creating ‘The Others’ is fitting. Supergirl Season 4 challenges viewers to see other people’s world that may be prejudged as black and white - but by entering them with no judgment, shows the shades of grey that exist within its origin. Season 4 is a triumph so far, and should continue to touch on all angles of a wide political spectrum, and personal experiences. Seeing all sides to a complicated political climate may make some viewers at first uncomfortable, but eventually seeing light illuminated in the darkness - reveals humanity within.

Great season opener. And I think Brainy fits right in. My only question is how Lena, with as smart as she is, manages to be completely fooled by her mother time after time.

You have reached a new low and have completely destroyed the legacy of Supergirl. Hollywood is literally laying the foundation to destroy our country. It is breaking my heart to see this smeer campaign. Please stop this political destruction of Supergirl!!!!

The show has just stopped even pretending to provide entertainment. It just pushes a left leaning view on everyone. Why can't you just put on a good story and leave the poltics out of it?
  • Sadly lacking...

I had high hopes for this show but the constant political overtones & trying to push every agenda they possibly can has ruined this show. No longer watching this once great show.

  • Supergirl?

I have watched Supergirl since it aired and haven’t been let down, but with the politics merged into season 4 it’s kind of a bummer. But I don’t think it’s too late for this show to turn it around maybe they need to have an old star back from season 1 that we haven’t seen since. Maybe bring in like Silver banshee to show that not just aliens are the only ones with powers?
  • I love this show!

Don’t push your uneducated biased ignorant opinions into your tv show. Your anti gun episode is chalked full of so much bs it’s clear you’ve never even touched an AR-15 Which by the way is not an assault weapon. Please educate yourselves before you have an opinion based on what CNN wants you to think

What began as a fun and interesting series has morphed into some of the worst "political" ideology imaginable. This isn't Supergirl anymore, it's Supergurrrrl. If I want poorly thought-out political posturing, I'll watch a late night show.
