  • Forget the haters

This show isn’t even out and it’s getting bad reviews. Might be sexism....
  • Can't wait!

I have been a sci-fi fan for the past 35 years. I have watched many white, male doctors (some better than others!) and am looking forward to Dr. Who through the eyes of a lead female character. To the haters, women love science fiction and women can play a lead role. To those who can't stand the idea of Dr. Who as a female Time Lord, how exactly can you believe in time travel, multiple galaxies, the plethora of creatures and villans, the timey wimey science, and not have an open mind on gender in a thousand year old alien species from another planet? Open your mind, and your heart, and enjoy the ride!
  • It’s great

    Still got it.
  • So stoked!

I can’t WAIT to see this new Doctor, and know that she’ll help usher in a new era for the show, the fans, and do honor to her predecessors.
  • Impossible to review but...

It’s worth investing in! If you’re at all suspicious, wait for the first episode or just get the season in Standard Definition. What’s the risk in that? They Are Trying Something New. It wouldn’t have been my choice, but we saw it coming when they introduced Missy and Bob. It’s not unbelievable in the universe they’ve created for the Doctor. You could argue it cheapens the show by appearing to align with changing political views and attitudes, but we don’t know that. We DO know they are are trying something new to show the nearly limitless possibilities of a being that is over 2000 years old may have.

  • What happened to Doctor Who

    By Dr. Gibson
I've seen all available Doctor Who episodes back to William Hartnel. However, they have been non-political. In the latter episodes of season 10, the BBC started with Trump jokes. Now in Season 11. A show about Rosa Parks because, the BBC decides to wipe the US' face in a past history of racism. Then in "Arachnids in the UK", the Villian is an evil angry white American male - who happens to own a golf course and hotel in Scotland. The character is obviously an "Evil Donald Trump". Hate or love Trump. Politics doesn't belong on Doctor Who. Watching Doctor Who should be a temporary escape from the problems of the world.

This show never fails me. I love it.

  • Best season by far

Man, the production values, writing, acting, plotting. It’s a quality reinvention of a great show. Some of the best sci-fi I’ve seen on TV in a long while. Absurdly good character work, delightful new ideas and worlds, and a great new Doctor to top it all off. I can’t wait to see where they take this next!
  • Doctor, I let you go

Just pretend the Doctor opted to not regenerate at the end of the Capaldi era. It’s better that way.
  • Such crap.

    By Tinman1911
Final victim of BBC. This is the problem with a content producer not answerable to their customers.
  • Buyer’s remorse

I love Jodie and Chris, but this was not a good fit. I look forward to seeing their work in a more suitable genre. I won’t be purchasing anymore DW episodes.
  • Sadly dissappointed

I was really looking forward to the new season of Doctor Who. I've watched Jodie Whittaker in other performances and thought she was very good and couldn’t wait to see what she brought to The Doctor. I even like the idea of having more than one companion. What's surprised me was how bad the writing for this series was. Most of the episodes started out with a very good premise but seem to fall flat halfway through or towards the end. For the next series I hope they keep the cast and fire the writers. I also don't mind the political commentary but keep it subtle and not a slap in the face.
  • Trip down memory lane

    By Loucsl
I've been watching Doctor Who since I was a kid in the late 70's/80's and I'm just really enjoying the ensemble cast like we had in the original series run. I think the broader perspective gives the situations more excitement and better character development. And I'm really enjoying Whittaker's take on the Doctor. A little bit of 10's timing and compassion, a little bit of 5's sass and fashion sense. Definitely worth a view, particularly if you're coming back to the series.
  • Terrible

    By Berachiah
Gone is the funny, yet serious, and quirky doctor. What we have in this series is just political correctness and virtue signaling. Jodie and Chris either don’t really understand the idea behind Doctor Who, or they simply don’t care. Either way it’s a train wreck of a series without any redeeming value.
  • Extreme left wing bias.

    By Montyburns77
I love Dr. Who and I don’t care the Doctor is a woman. However one cannot deny the overwhelming bias and far left garbage.
  • Worst season yet

Glad this is her only season as The Doctor. Such a let down, I was really looking forward to this new doctor.
  • Excuse You Rosa Haters! I ❤️ Rosa!

    By SailorVenus418
The main idea of “Rosa” is exactly what Doctor Who was originally meant to be about! Not interfering. Witnessing events in history! Verity Lambert created Doctor Who to TEACH children about the past. That was Lambert’s intention when she created Doctor Who in 1963. When it first came out, The Doctor and his friends explore different events in history and witness them. Even though there was a threat, the Doctor did everything he could to make sure the event in the timeline stays on track! In “Rosa,” when Graham asked, “Are we supposed to help her?” and the Doctor replied, “No. We’re supposed to not help this time...” I cried. They were tears of joy because I thought Mr. Chibnall was going in that original direction for Doctor Who! Rosa will be my all-time favorite episode! Above all the other episodes in this season!
