  • Really, I paid for censored?

    By thinkmatt117
I love this show. It really is the best Syfy has offered since the Battlestar Galactica remake, and it is one of the most entertaining shows around right now. That being said it is ridiculous that I, a grown man who paid for this show, am not allowed to hear the big boy words. What the frak? How about you throw in some car commercials too so I can really feel like I'm on cable. Slap an explicit rating on an un-censored version or don't put curse words in at all.
  • Solid

The show follows the laws of physics (without nitpicking, at least), doesn't have plot holes, doesn't have nonsensical plot devices, the characters say what people in real life would say, and doesn't string you along, and so on and so forth. The first season seemed the best show since Firefly, with the gritty, realistic feeling of Battlestar Galactica (before it got weird after the second or third season), and this season is ramping up nicely to match BSG pacing, along with political intrigue and a whole lot of mystery in general. I'm a fan. And product placement or not, the breaching pods in episode 2 were freaking hilarious.
  • Excellent show; Get the unedited/ uncensored version elsewhere.

    By Smith45w
Unlike the Blu-ray versions, these digital recordings have been edited for time and (unbelievably) for content: Chrisjen Avasarala's occasionally profane language (which is deliciously ironic) is ludicrously silenced here. And some scenes are completely missing; they appear as snippets in the recaps but have been cut from the episode.
  • Great scifi!

    By tankograd
This is the best scifi television since Battlestar Galactica!
  • Good so far, but...

    By Halloween_Jack
As reviewer Rudy3572 noted, some of the language has been edited out in the iTunes version. Why is this? There is no warning about this in the product description. I purchased a season pass, so are all the episodes where Avarasala runs her mouth going to be sanitized?
  • Great Sci-Fi Series!

But why the censor of language? It's on cable for a good reason.
  • Sheila, Raven, Raj @ Apple

    By moonmycron
The show is excellent but as per Sheila @ Apple I am writing this negative review; " Here There Be Dragons" was corrupted… black screen. All episodes played fine. Sheila at Apple support issued $1.77 credit and said to write this in a review, and try to re-purchase it again. If it does not work I can then again spend another hour trying to resolve the issue. During which i was transferred then disconnected and reconnected again and asked to explain it all again. Sad that Apple does NOT quality control their content and places the onus on me to reach out to the content provider in this way. As per Sheila it's not Apples responsibility that what they sell may not be good… nice to know.
  • Great show, but is censored

    By heyigor
Please fix. I pay money for an uncensored version. Its rated TV MA not 13. Game Of Thrones is rated TV MA, and there is no cenership.
  • Great show - get it somewhere else

Cannot say enough good things about the show, but iTunes have been consistently a laggard behind other content sellers (Amazon, YouTube) in making episodes available after airing. This will probably be the last time I buy season pass from iTunes...
  • Great Show, but iTunes is slow to bring up new episodes

    By thirteen28
The show is incredible, I concur with every good thing said about it in every other interview. That being said, the iTunes store sometimes drags its feet on getting out new episodes. As of this writing, Season 2, Episode 4 hs not been released, even though it is available for purchase/streaming on both Amazon Video and YouTube. Thus, if you care about getting your episodes in a timely manner, you may want to consider those alternatives before purchasing through the iTunes store. I know I will.

  • An Epic Space Opera

    By Ten-32
The genre has needed something fresh and epic like The Expanse for awhile now. Glad it's finally here, The Expanse is a masterpiece!!
  • The Best Show on Television

    By David Barr Kirtley
This is the best show on television by far and is arguably the greatest science fiction show ever made. Everyone watch it so we get a Season 4.
  • Better than BSG and Babylon 5

    By NeverAgainSkype
This show just gets better and better. Because it's based on books with detailed plots, it doesn't start stalling like BattleStar Galactica did.
  • Still excellent

    Love it.
  • WOW! What a great story

    By rpieprzica
The story is amazing, the sci-fi elements are on point, it has everything I could want in a series. Just keep up the great plot, and the visual effects and it'll be a winner for years to come. But now that I've said that, like most shows I like, it'll end up getting cancelled for some stupid reason.
  • Favorite Show Ever

Love this show and the book series. So inspirational what we can do if we colonize Space. Hopefully we can avoid some of the dramatic plot arcs.
  • Great show

I stumbled across this one looking for a new series. I am so glad I did. What a great show. The special effects are amazing, and the characters are easy to get attached to. Whoever starts this show and binge watches it, beware, you have to wait an entire offseason for the new season to start again!!!
  • Great show

They did a great job recreating the books!
  • Such a good show omg

    By JessSree
I love this series. I am so glad they renewed it for the third season. The Expanse is based on a sci-fi book series, which I'm slowly working through--and I have to say that this show stays reasonably true to the books. The characters development and their relationships are phenomenal, which is why I'd recommend this to those who are not necessarily into sci-fi to start with. The politics, the drama, and the characters will keep you coing back. For me, the fact that it's set in space hundreds of years from now when humans have successfully colonized the solar system just makes this show extra exciting. The science is legit. The CGi is so cool. This is a space opera at its best. Fully recommend.
  • Censored? Not purchasing

    By Uncle Squid
Was tempted to buy the season, but I read the reviews. I'm not going to pay for censored/abridged content.
