  • Numbering??

    By Merdeathlou
Why has iTunes listed this as numbers 1 - 8 if it is going to consolidate with the first half of the season? These were two separate purchases with separate artwork, however, it is being placed within season one - as they are both season one - as numbers one through eight. Two episode ones, two episode twos and so forth… Why, if this is the next eight episodes, didn’t iTunes list this as episodes nine through eighteen so that there would be a chronological order for them??
  • Seriously

    By LEDswimmer
The second eight episodes have been released on iTunes Canada for Months, What is the issue here, enough is enough. Release the show!
  • Absolutely Fantastic Series

    By Altavelocidad
This show has everything game of thrones is missing. A truly suspenseful thrill the whole way through. I love visiting the old Highlands and its inhabitants every time i turn this show on. It is definitely a buy it series.
  • I agree 100% with malexandria

    By jackwebb714
I love the show, however had i know it would be split like this of all the reasons that malexandria has aforementioned I would not have purchased it. It is serious nonsense. Plus the fact I now have 2 shows called 1. and so forth. Jeez. The Game of Thrones is priced well, Outlander is seriously taking advantage of people. Thanks Starz. The rating is for the way it was release, the cost and the poor way it is defined by show.season number (1 star). The show gets (5) stars.
  • Initially loved the story

    By findingnarnia
Going into the next 8 episodes, there is less story and more unnecessary nudity and violence. This highly intelligent woman of action is more and more often putting herself in harm’s way through difficult to believe actions that predictably land Claire in situations where she could be raped again and again and again. I am no prude, but the writing is taking a back seat to sex scenes and stupid actions that are inexplicable. I’m also not yearning to see any of these rape scenes go to completion. I’m quickly losing interest because of the nonsense that unfolds. Actually, I am done.
  • Overrated

    By theRealZorro
I haven't read the book. After watching the whole season I have no desire. The whole season can be purchased on iTunes Australia. Not sure why Sony is dragging their feet releasing it here considering Starz already broadcast it months ago. This is an expensive production with great actors and a great executive producer, but the script was extremely anemic. This would've made a good film, but the TV production just seem overly drawn out as if they were struggling to fill it with content. Towards the end of the season there were a number of episodes that didn't need to be added and that includes the overly abundent homosexual scenes.
  • Homosexual Rape

    By JDreez
Started out as a great show, turns into forcible gay rape. I can’t even watch this garbage anymore.
  • Sam Deserves An Emmy AND An Oscar

    By JustpeachynDC
Sam deserves an Emmy AND an Oscar for his acting on this show, especially for the last few episodes of this season. I don't know how he was able to do it. You could've paid me $1 billion and I still wouldn't have done it. He did it and it was well executed. Believe what you will, but he is acting the HELL out of this role! Sam...if you're reading this --> this role was made for you. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to seeing more from you.
  • WHOA!

    By AMJ33
Very prolonged male rape scene that covers the last two episodes. Thats what I should have heard before I bought this and perhaps now that you know, you might reconsider. It seriously went on forever… and if they wanted it to be a part of the story line, ok, but not over the course of two episodes dedicating so much time to it. I mean, I have recommended the first 8 episodes to other people…and yes while violence, nudity, and rape occurred it didn’t exhaust itself in such maddening and gross detail. The whole rape scene just took on a life of its own, overpowering everything else the show had offered. I thought this might be a nice yet super cheesy fantasy series to indulge in with some historical nuances… but this is a heavy slice of something else.
  • It's a shame.

I really liked the first season but you lost me on the second one. I couldn't finish watching it

  • Where is Season 3???

    By AamericanChild
The show is over on Starz, and Season 3 has been available for months on iTunes Australia and ITunes Canada. Do I have to move to Canada to buy it??????

  • great episodes

    By scottie306
a great season. I just wish they could fix it so the episode weren't mixed up in my TV Show Library. Like episode 1 is called #1 and episode 8 is called #1 so u can't watch them by jumping to the next episode without closing.
  • good but there’s a problem in inaccuracies

    By The Rhythmist
Great soundtrack throughout, sublime scenery and great mood including several very funny moments. However, Claire’s medical knowledge far exceeds that of any general practitioner physician, even though she’s only a nurse from 1945. Her knowledge includes Internal Medicine, Traumatology, Obstetrics, AND Physical Therapy. That’s one Physician, two Surgeons and one Physical Therapist merged into one person, who again, happens to be a nurse. My problem is: next thing you know, she’s gonna pop a cane and change her last name to House. If the writer wanted her to be so good in medicine, why not just make her a doctor instead of insisting on filling the series with things that just make you nod in disapproval concerning reality. Yes it’s sci-fi, but that doesn’t mean it happens in another universe where people like architects build spaceships and engineers draw buildings instead of it being the other way around. Episode 16 was just ridiculous in terms of writing and storytelling. Honestly, what is it with STARZ and homosexuality? Do they have to include it in each series they make? It has become a signature of theirs.
  • Ok show- Terrible iTunes administration

    By A 1000 Cuts Fan
Ok, got it- a second set of episodes for the same season. I paid for the season once but I will pay again. The least you could do was number the episodes differently than the first set of episodes- or perhaps iTunes employees don't understand how iTunes works. Incompetent!
  • Best show on tv!!!

    By Cbsiqicdhhdici
This show will make you become obsessed with everything Outlander. Claire and Jamie are relationship goals❤️
  • Outstanding series - though not for the faint of heart!

    By Gundogirl
I was a fan of the books ( the audiobooks are great as well, the narrator Davina Porter is outstanding!) before the show so I knew what to expect from the series. The show is obviously done for cable and with that being said I don't get all the criticism in some of the reviews. The last two episodes were definitely hard to watch as they should be, it would be terrible if one was not affected due to the subject matter. The actors definitely did an awesome job, looking forward to them receiving awards in the future, as to why didn't they didn't win at the Golden Globes this year, I am stumped. Ron Moore, and company has done an awesome job bringing the books to life on the screen. Looking forward to season 2!
  • The Episode Numbering Needs Fixing!

    By knaka1020
Love the books and the series so far; the rape stuff is definitely hard to get through like other commenters say. My problem is with the way the episodes and Season 1 Part 1 and Part 2 get messed up in iTunes. All the episodes become mixed together and you can't tell the chronological order anymore, despite the two parts being sold separately.
  • Trash

    By Dusty Ho
Absolutely disgusting! Zero redeeming value here. My wife and I found the first 8 episodes gripping and titillating, but the next 8 left us both feeling emotionally violated and mentally pained. So very disappointing.
  • Hooked and for good reasons

    By stefanieRibarra
As soon as you watch the first episode you'll get hooked. I didn't read the books but hey you don't have to. This show is all about the epic romance, mixed with science fiction, period piece, great drama, and some history. This is one of those shows that you won't get enough of, that you'll want to binge watch, which is how I watched it. A must see if you like Game of Thrones mixed with Downton Abbey. Great performances, great locations and a gripping story. The science fiction element makes it way more fun.
