Description

Smallfoot : An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, “Smallfoot” turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti (Channing Tatum) finds something he thought didn’t exist—a human. News of this “smallfoot” (James Corden) brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.

The movies does a good job of pointing out the the mindlessness of accepting what has always been said and done, at a kids level. Musical numbers were hit and miss, and definitely borrowed from other great shows.

Within minutes this "children's" cartoon insinuates the stupidity of our Judeo Christian faith. The producers should be ashamed. I would not recommend this for anyones children, or anyone of faith.

Ok movie but the anti-border agenda is clear. It’s not my imagination, the director is on record admitting it.

Smarter than I expected, Small Foot deals with a lot of adult themes and a lot of universal human themes. It's surprisingly good for grown-ups, and the kids seeing it with us had a lot of fun.

  • Hollywood bashes religion again!

Smallfoot is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a blatant attack on Christianity masquerading as a kiddie cartoon. At first I could hardly believe that Hollywood would be so blatant in putting its contempt for Christianity on full display, but then I thought, "well, it is Hollywood, after all." So, the plot of this despicable film revolves around a community of Yeti's who are oppressed by the set of rules that are literally written on stone. Wow, that's as thin a metaphor as you get. And, shockingly (ha ha) the only way for the yetis to become truly enlightened is to reject their religion, which at one point a main character literally admits they made up in the first place. Everyone associated with this hateful attack on believers should be ashamed of themselves.

Although I have to agree that the music seems lackluster, overall it was a great movie. So far as lessons to be learned by children and parents it's simple. When teaching one should be honest, and explain the reason for rules so that children can learn to appreciate truth and logic. The movie does seem to teach that honesty and understanding are all important.
