The best in the series. There’s a scene in the beginning that’s so well done that I gasped and clapped in my living room.

It seems like these movies are all the same. The world is coming to an end, but Tom Cruise saves the day at the last minute. Yawn!

Got a 4K TV and and AppleTV 4K? THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR YOU. Not only have Cruise & McQuarrie hit another home run with a great story about IMF agent, Ethan Hunt - but some of the shots are absolutely stunning and it really shows when viewed in 4K.

It’s impossible to imagine another franchise that so perfectly iterates on what has come before it. More action? You got it. More romance? Emotion? Mask tomfoolery? Check, check, and check. Oh, and let’s not forget how many belly laughs I got from it. This is one you can’t afford to miss... the stakes have never been higher.

I bought this movie to watch with family and had to force myself to sit through it to hopefully find some redeeming cinematic qualities worth the coin I spent on it as well as vindicates it’s ITunes rating.

The movie was good but the 4K didn’t work well the aspect ratio changed constantly while watching the movie and going back to title the “4K” “Dolby Vision” and “Dolby Atmos” signs had disappeared. 90% of the movie was not in 4K. By the way, my TV, HDMI, and setting work perfectly with other 4K streaming services.

  • EXCELLENT MOVIE!

THIS is what movies are all about- you're pulled in by the perfect blend of action, story, and filmwork and can't help but forget everything else for 2+ hours. Say what you want about him, but Tom Cruise knows how to make a good movie. EXCELLENT.
  • Like a 1960 Army Training Film

Zero emotional content. The film gives no reason to care about what these people do. Whether there is a fist-fight, a shoot-out or a chase scene, I don't care what happens to any of them.

All over the place....disjointed...boring action movie.
  • This is definitely THE BEST MISSION YET!!!

A lot of the film’s strengths come from highlights of the previous films. Intense action, large set pieces, and underlying themes of deceit and espionage. Tom Cruise proves once again why he is still one of the best action stars in movie history. See this. Feel this. Own this!
  • Not MI, Just A Brainless Action Movie

The point of a spy movie is the suspense of being thrown by cliffhangers; action is secondary. This was NOT a spy movie as the rest of the franchise is. It was just a brainless action movie. As a spy movie it was boring because it was (as every reviewer notes) predictable. No cliffs with us, the viewers hanging to build suspense. Just watching Cruise hang, ride a motorcycle (incorrectly for high speeds, he’d loose his foot or ditch). Packaged as MI it was a bad movie for this reason (hence my rating). Packaged as Fallout, a stand alone action movie so the viewer has NO expectation of intrigue? I’d rate it much higher (as I’d’ve attended — or not — when in the mood to not think at all but just see explosions & chases, nothing more). Ho-hum. Epic fail.

Terrible story, bad acting, amateur directing what is going on? Mission Impossible movies always put a smile on my face, this one a frawn.
  • Too dragging

Too many car, motorcycle, helicopter & foot chases. Nothing special. No major facility infiltrations like the usual previous movies. Just a close call bomb diffusal, that's all. They coud've done better on this. Waste of my $20

Clearly a lot of money was spent making this movie. However, that was enough. It failed as a movie. As far as I'm concerned, no more Mission Impossible movies.
