  • total crap

This wasn't a movie nor was it entertaining. Absolute crap. Exploitation of a semi acceptable script but for the music in the original. Don't be sucked in by this nonsense. Worst EVER! Not even one star. The music is crap. Continuity with sequel non-existent. Not even a viable film. The actors who came back must have got a lot of money to do so and must be completely embarrassed. Terrible film. Couldn't even watch it through. Waste of money. Really. Don't bother. Sad indeed.
  • Favorite movie of all time!

I really have no idea how people write these terrible reviews. The actors did such an amazing job! The singing, acting, script, everything was wonderful!!

It was okay I guess. I mean it was super obvious that when they were singing it was all lip syncing. It was also really confusing.
  • Wish Donna was alive

    By Manma_Mia_lover
This is by far my favorite movie, but I think If donna was alive and she was having flashbacks from the hotel being built, it would’ve been so much better. Also there is no point of making a third movie of Donna’s Dead. I loved the first movie so much because I loved how donna was so energetic, fun, and upbeat, but having her dead was a mistake that could’ve been easily fixed
  • Bad acting

    By 1556sb
Bad acting, poor singing, lame story. The scenery is beautiful.
  • Disgrace

Disgrace to the wonderful music of ABBA.
  • ??? 😐

I didn’t like the part that they killed off Meryl Streep’s character. Who does that? Them. But other than that most of songs were poorly written and didn’t make sense to have the song in the first place.
  • Disappointed

    By Darkblaze555
This movie is not worth even seeing in Movie Theaters. I watched it on the plane and it was HORRIBLE. The first movie was way better and by that, only a little bit better by being two stars. It’s way too extreme in some of the pieces for a story and doesn’t make sense. The daughter is like “do you think my mom would be proud of me ? She told me to go live my life away from the island and don’t get held down by this place here when She’s gone.” I was so confused since the daughter just answered her own question. She shouldn’t be devoting time to something her mom didn’t want her to be dragged down by.....

  • New second favorite movie! (Behind the first mamma Mia of course)

    By SillySophs12
This movie was absolutely phenomenal! I loved how they incorporated other ABBA songs that they didn’t in the first movie (my new personal favorites are “one of us” and “angel eyes”). But, I also loved how they REincorporated some of the same abba songs they used in the first movie and spiced it up a little. The actors were amazing and very well cast, except I would have liked to see more of Meryl Streep. The first movie is my favorite movie of all time and the second movie was definitely worth the wait!
  • So worth the wait!!! 🤩🤩🤩

What an AMAZING sequel! It was everything I expected and more! You must go see it in theaters. We waited 10 years for this! So worth it!
  • A Sister Let Down

    By Ogie1994!
Lilly James and MANY OTHER characters ruined this movie for me. Donna Sheridan would be rolling in her grave if she was a real person because the ‘younger versions’ of the characters were terrible actors and didn’t even capture the likelihood of Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, etc... This movie deserves a HARD thumbs down!!
  • don't think about it too hard.

    By julia.stevens16
alright listen up. this movie has almost no plot and doesn't necessarily follow the continuity of the first. but you know what? it really doesn't matter. this movie is a love letter to whatever joy is left in this piece of garbage world. it's fun and it's not ashamed to be. you can feel the happiness and enjoyment of every person who was a part of it throughout the entire thing, and it's not meant to be anything more than a good time. is it gonna win any awards? nah. but did it win hearts? you bet your abba loving butt it did.
  • Last few minutes are good

    By Lets Go Rays
Hated this one in comparison to the original. Loved the original: upbeat, catchy, memorable. This one is depressing and sad and repeats much of the music in a less exciting way. The last five minutes was the best part.
  • best movie

I’ve always wished for a sequel right after i saw the first one then it happened! Best advance birthday gift ever. Loved the first one and definitely loved the second one. Love lots to ABBA. I was thrilled when i saw Bjorn and Benny in the movie and I actually hoped to see the whole group at the end of the movie.

This movie blew me away. I loved the emotions throughout and jumps through time. The baptism scene made me a sobbing mess. I can’t wait to see it again!
