Wife and I are in that age group and we loved it!
  • Liked it a lot!

Look it’s not Oscar winning, but it’s cute, love all four ladies. Funny about dating and enjoying life at any age.
  • Not good

    Terrible. Cliched. They deserve better.
  • Entertaining and funny

I honestly didn’t have any expectations for this movie, but I really enjoyed it. It was entertaining and had its heartfelt moments. Perhaps the older folks don’t like the exaggeration of the jokes but I think it was great. I watched this with my mom and we were both laughing throughout.
  • Awful

I am in my sixties and so nothing of truth. I’d be embarrassed to have had anything to do with this film.

What a great movie! I watched it twice since I rented it. Great cast all around. Funny, fresh and well, I’ll probably watch it again. Yes, sort of a chick flick, but hey, guys will like it too.
  • It disappeared when I tried to watch it on plane

Disappointed-I loved this movie but it disappeared when I tried to watch it on plane
  • Pass!

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. I couldn't finish it. What an embarrassment.
  • Much worse than anticipated.

With all four of these talented actresses, I expected a fabulous, fun movie. This was a complete bomb. Unable to finish watching.

For those of us in our 60s it was an inspiration filled with laughs and sometimes tears. I loved it and it showed that age is just a state of mind ! So dream on and reinvent yourself!!
  • should have been much better

    By reviewing because...
With the all star cast, I was picturing a funny, well acted movie.. well, not so much. Very disappointed.
  • Better Than I Anticipated!

This movie is so relevant to today and has a great meaning to the story! I laughed so much I had to get out my tissues! I love the entire cast! What a fun refreshing and great movie which will be a favorite for many!
  • Why Book Club included Fonda

    By Krimbill
Jane Fonda does not know how to be a movie actor, she was terrible in this movie. Maybe she is a friend of someone in the movie and got a part.
  • Wish there was a lower rating

Cliched, overworked, tired plot ...just awful.
  • Painful to get through

    By Charley9338
What a waste of talent! This movie was unoriginal, dull, and painful to get through. Don't bother.
  • Don’t Waste Your Time

    By jazzyjano
This movie isn’t worth the time. I’d rather spend my time pulling weeds, scrubbing the floor, etc. The acting was bad. The writing was horrible. It wasn’t funny. Don’t waste your time.
  • Boring

    By Whitfb
    That about sums it up.
  • I’m 35.....

I saw this movie today, thinking I’m a few decades too young to enjoy it. How wrong was I?! My comment while watching this, was why didn’t this happen to me after reading these books? One of My movie club friends said because you’re not in your 60s 😂 I laughed, I cried, I loved it. I have NEVER given a comedy 5 stars. But this time I did. ❤️
  • Amazing
